hoping that life can be better, just not sure how to get there?
Life feels a little lonely right now. Your relationships are lacking, your self-confidence is low, and daily life feels overwhelming and uncertain. Each day leaves you feeling unfulfilled, and you know there is more to life.
You feel as though life should come with some sort of instruction manual. How are you supposed to just know how to do it all on your own? You’re doing your best, but managing a job, family, relationships, emotions,… everything is starting to feel like too much. You feel your anxiety and stress mounting.
Although you can’t seem to access it, you know you have the potential for a warm, loving family, carefree days, and a genuine smile.
You find yourself wishing for a future where you feel more empowered and able to tackle the struggles of daily life. You hope that somewhere out there is someone who can help you, someone to teach you how to navigate complex relationships and situations.
There is hope.
My name is Shlomo Rhein and I am here to help you.
I am a family and individual therapist based in Yerushalayim, working with individuals and couples to help them enrich their lives.
I believe in you.
I believe every person who walks into my office has innate capabilities and qualities that will allow them to work through their struggles and reach a place of confidence and happiness. During therapy, I provide the tools you will need to identify, explore, and overcome your particular struggles. Whether you are looking to feel more confident in your parenting skills, deepen your relationship with your spouse, or overcome anxiety and self-doubt, I can help you discover what may be blocking you from being the person you want to be. Together, we will embark on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment.
In the therapy room, I provide a safe space to allow you to use your inborn abilities and self-awareness to promote your own change. At every step of this process, you will feel cared for, validated, and understood. No problem is too big or too small. If you feel you want to change, you can. Let me help you.
A Little Bit More About Me
So, now that you know a little bit of what I can provide for you, let’s get into the details of my education and training.
I have a MS in Clinical Sociology from the University of North Texas. I did a post graduate internship in the Neve Family Institute, here in Israel. Additionally, I received specialized training in Neve’s Adolescent Unit. My training includes study in developmental psychology, Internal Family Systems (IFS) theory, and addictions. During a therapy session, I use a variety of clinical methods, including IFS, sandtray, and other modalities. I like to discover what works for you, and what can help you achieve your goals in the most effective way. For the past 10 years, I have been in private practice in Yerushalayim, working with individuals and couples.
Wondering what you can expect to see in my office?
I look like a typical American Chareidi, and will likely be drinking a cup of tea. I bring my passionate, curious, self into the room, and will do my best to put you at ease. I enjoy music and laughter, and learning new things. I love connecting to the people in my room in a real way. You will probably encounter my sense of humor and enjoyment in seeing who you are and how you can use your strengths and talents to better your situation.
I look forward to getting to know you! Take the first step and see how I can help.
